Court Areas Covered

Effective January 1, 1997, Court districts are hereby modified as follows:

That portion of Richland Township which lies north of Interstate 70 and east of the city limits of St. Clairsville and east of that portion of County Road 4 which lies outside the city limits of St. Clairsville, including the Ohio Valley Plaza, shall be transferred from the Western Division to the Northern Division;
That portion of Richland Township which lies south of Interstate 70 and east of the city limits of St. Clairsville and east of that portion of County Road 4 which lies outside the city limits of St. Clairsville, including the Ohlo Valley Mall, shall be transferred to the Eastern Division Court.

With said modifications, the jurisdictions of the County Courts shall be as follows:

Northern Division Court

All of Pease and Colerain Townships;
All of United States Route 40 east of the city limits of St. Clairsville;
That portion of Richland Township which lies north of Interstate 70 and east of the city limits of St. Clairsville and east of that portion of County Road 4 which lies outside the city limits of St. Clairsville, including the Ohio Valley Plaza;
All of Interstate 70 east of Exit 220 (State Route 214 Interchange).

All of Pultney, Mead, York and Washington Townships;
All of Interstate 470;
All of State Route 214;
That portion of Richland Township which lies south of Interstate 70 and east of the city limits of St. Clairsville and east of that portion of County Road 4 which is outside the city limits of St. Clairsville, including the Ohio Valley Mall.

I 70 From Exit 214 to the county line west;
All of Flushing, Wheeling, Kirkwood, Union, Warren, Goshen, Smith. Somerset and Wayne Townships;
Those portions of Richland Township not lying within the jurisdictions of Northern and Eastern Division Courts, including all of the city limits of St. Clairsville.
